Dr. Hector Weerasinghe retires


Director of the Colombo National Hospital Dr. Hector Weerasinghe retired from service today (June 17). Dr. Hector Weerasinghe was appointed as the Consul General to Los Angeles by President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the External Affairs Ministry announced.


Of his 31-year career, Dr. Weerasinghe had served at the CNH, which has 7,500 employees and 3,500 residential patients, for 21 years. He served as Director for more than 10 years and 21 years at National hospital of his 31 years career life.
